Privacy notice
This notice explains how CrossKode (“we”) handles your personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What we collect
- Your name, email address and message when you use the contact form.
- Your name, address and GST details when we invoice you for a project.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send quotes.
- To deliver the project you hire us for, and send invoices and receipts.
- To keep our accounts, as tax law requires.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last conversation, and invoices and payment records for as long as tax law requires. After that we delete them.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the site and our work: our email provider and hosting provider. Each processes data only on our instructions.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Withdraw consent and ask us to delete it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.
